Is your child immunized?
School aged children not immunized by 02.17.2016 will be asked to complete their required immunizations prior to returning to school, preschool, Head Start, or certified day care facilities. Once evidence of having the required immunizations can be provided to their school, children will be allowed to return to school.
If you believe your child is exempt from this immunization requirement, please be sure that your exemption documentation is correct and up to date.
You can expect to receive a letter by February 3rd letting you know what immunizations your child may still need. This is also a great opportunity for you to bring your child in for a well child checkup.
School law does not require all immunizations recommended in Oregon. Please talk with your doctor about what vaccinations are appropriate for your child.

Umpqua Community Health Center is providing drop in vaccinations at their clinics:
Roseburg: Monday – Friday from 9 am to Noon and 1 to 4 pm
Sutherlin: Monday – Thursday from 1 to 4 pm
Myrtle Creek: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1 to 4 pm
Central Coast Community Health has walk in clinics on Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm at the Douglas County Reedsport Annex at 680 Fir Street.
Many Pharmacies are an option TDAP for children ages 11 and up. We recommend the parent call their pharmacy to confirm availability.
